Duan Qiang holds a Ph.D. in Economics of Tsinghua University, China. He was former Vice Mayor of Beijing and now Chairman of the Board of Beijing Tourism Group (BTG), one of the top tourism groups in China. BTG holds stakes in nearly 300 companies and extends its broad presence with over 1600 member companies from across the world. Shepherding one of the strongest tourism businesses in China, Dr. Duan holds considerable influence in the Chinese tourism industry and beyond. As division president of China, Dennis Chang oversees the Mastercard operations in mainland China market with the objectives of promoting the Mastercard brand preference and growing business with Chinese customers, existing or new, both domestically and globally.
Prior to the current role, Dennis was general manager of China, and head of Market Development Greater China. On those positions, he played a leadership role in expanding Mastercard's business into strategic areas in Greater China. Anna Coren is an award-winning international correspondent for CNN International, based at the network's Asia Pacific headquarters in Hong Kong. She joined CNN in 2008 as an anchor and has made the transition to roving international correspondent. Nigel David is Executive Vice President, Asia & Middle East, for WTTC where he has worked for 7 years. Nigel graduated from Birmingham University in 1982 with a degree in International Studies.
He followed that with a postgraduate degree in Tourism and Marketing at Surrey University in 1983. His career has spanned over 35 years in the travel and tourism industry during which he has held a wide range of leadership roles for both large multi-national organisations as well as smaller start-up companies. Ahmed Eiweida is the World Bank Global Lead for Cultural Heritage and Sustainable Development. He is also Lead Urban Specialist covering East Asia & Pacific Region. He is based in the World Bank’s Singapore Urban & Infrastructure Hub Office. Ahmed has over 25-year experience in cultural heritage, sustainable tourism, urban policies, municipal finance & infrastructure, local economic development, urban upgrading and urban regeneration. He joined the World Bank in 2000 and since then worked in more than 15 countries in East Europe, Central Asia, Middle East, East Asia and Pacific Islands. Previously, he was the Program Leader of Sustainable Development in the South Caucasus Region (Georgia, Armenia and Azerbaijan), based in Tbilisi, Georgia. Over the years, Ms. Ho actively contributes to the promotion of tourism development on a global scale. Tom Jenkins is the CEO of the European Tourism Association (ETOA), whose purpose is to promote a fair business environment for European tourism. ETOA represents over 1,200 tour operators and suppliers from over 50 countries, who deliver more than €12 billion of business annually within Europe.
Under Tom’s stewardship, ETOA’s scope of activity has broadened considerably; he has built close relationships with numerous legislators and other trade bodies at European, national and local levels. He regularly lobbies on our members’ behalf on our core legislative issues of visas, destination engagement, taxation and the Package Travel Directive.
He has been responsible for championing tourist access to historic cities, for initiating a Europe-wide coach safety code and for leading a campaign that successfully blocked changes to EU VAT legislation that would have jeopardised 5,000 tourism jobs in Europe.

Dr. QIU, Hanqin is the Distinguished Professor at Nankai University, the Dean of College of Tourism and Service Management and the Director of Digital Learning Research and Development Center. She is also the Vice-President of United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) Hong Kong Association, the Editor-in-Chief of Journal of Quality Assurance in Hospitality & Tourism and the consultant on Education Administration to the Sun Yat-sen University.

Jayson Westbury is CEO of Australian Federation of Travel Agents (AFTA), a MBA of Australian School of Business and has 25 years of managerial experience in the tourism and hotel industry. He has been acting as executive director of AFTA since 2009, was former head and is still a Board director of the World Travel Agents Association Alliance (WTAAA), an international organization with about 56 member states from across the world.
